PhotoShop Image Experiments
This is the image before any editing or text was added. The colours are very neutral, with greys in the background for Kate to stand out against. I imported this image from Google. I wanted to edit some pictures before I took and edited my own, so I could revitalise the skills I know I have when using Photoshop, and this will rejog my memory before delving into editing my own pictures for my poster and other ancillary task work.
The first picture had a filter added to it, called Texturise, and after applying this, contrast and brightness was edited to make the subject seem brighter. The layout of this picture is perfect, with the artist at the right giving room for the text which will be the album cover name and the artists name. This is the sort of layout I want for my cd cover, and will be mimiked when I come on to doing my own.
Current Problems
At the moment, I am facing many problems when it comes to recording more footage and editing things together to create a better peice. The main problem I have is time management, as the person whom I am recording has a very tight schedule and I am finding it hard to find time to record when she can. This has meant everytime I have tried to record she has either been busy or away, and when I have had chance something has gotten in the way of progress. To overcome this problem, I will reaccess the person who I have cast and maybe replace her, or try to move forward and work with the time I have to progress, as I have already recorded some footage and this would now be a waste if I do cast someone else.
